a little about us....
Hanley Swan Pre-School Playgroup is a small, committee-run setting. We are based in the village of Hanley Swan in the shadow of the picturesque Malvern Hills, making us ideally situated for families not only in Hanley Swan but also Malvern, Welland, Upton-upon-Severn and the surrounding area. There has been a preschool/playgroup in the village for over 50 years!
We are Ofsted registered and received a GOOD rating at our last inspection, in 2019. We are also registered with the charity commission and members of the preschool learning alliance.
At Hanley Swan Pre-School Playgroup, we believe that EVERY child is entitled to a rich and varied learning environment that supports their development. We aim to ensure that our children are given the confidence to explore and learn in a secure and safe environment. The children are happy, confident and stimulated, and this reflects positively in their behaviour.

Our ethos is LEARNING THROUGH PLAY, THE NATURAL WAY...
We have a large designated garden area for them to learn and play in, and enjoy outdoor activities such as structure building, bug hunting, weaving, growing plants or rolling down our grassy hill!
Our highly-trained staff are dedicated to each and every child. With ongoing training they are knowledgeable about the latest childcare developments. We currently have two forest school leaders, as well as a qualified teacher who supports children's speech and language development. All our team bring a wealth of experience and can support you and your child in the start of their journey towards school.
